I just finished reading PERSEPOLIS 2. More so than its predecessor, this graphic novel is exceptional precisely because it is NOT exceptional. She's just like every other human being on Earth--flawed. Drugs, sex, and punk rock. We've all been there. This books goes a long way in showing that if we take away religion and politics, we're all made from the same dirt. If you are at all interested in anything Persian, you'll love this book; otherwise, you'll still like it.
